Top 10 Wholly Well Journey Podcasts of 2024
I am thrilled to share these top 10 podcasts of 2024 with you! Before I list them out, here’s some background on how things progressed over this past year:
Recap on 2024 and the Wholly Well Journey Podcast
November 2024 marked the one-year anniversary of this podcast. I started it in November 2023, publishing an episode every week, and I was super consistent in the beginning. Then, in spring 2024, I got a full-time job as a health and wellness coach for a company, and that consumed most of my time.
I got a little bit more sporadic about when I was posting; it was no longer every week. Then on November 21st, 2024, I had a pretty major health crisis. I had to go to the Emergency Room and then to ICU (Intensive Care Unit) for 5 days and discovered that I have a brain tumor.
I know that's heavy news, but God has really been with me through it all. He has given me a sense of peace and although there are obviously difficult times and challenges, I’ve been overall filled with faith, hope, and peace!
I am going to share some more things related to my personal health in the future. But one reason I want to mention it right now is that when you visit https://whollywelljourney.com, you will see a page in the header menu called “Healing Journey.”
We’ll be sharing some personal parts of that story and timely updates. But I am a private person who really values boundaries. :) With wisdom, there are certain things that I need to walk through and process before I share them publicly. However, you will find updates and specific prayer points on this Healing Journey page.
Ok, now let’s talk about the most popular podcasts!

3. Why the Daniel Fast is More Than Just a Diet (Episode 010)
I have a blog and book on the Daniel fast, and over the years, I've heard many criticisms that the Daniel Fast is not a true biblical fast because fasting should be only water, not eating. Another objection I've heard is that the Bible doesn't explicitly use the phrase “Daniel fast.”
So does the Daniel fast count, or have we watered down biblical fasting to make things more convenient and less sacrificial for people? And are pastors and people who promote the Daniel fast in error or teaching something false?
I sincerely wrestled with these questions. Read the Bible. Prayed. And I've also received lots of feedback and observations from my own online fasting community.
So here's my take on the Daniel fast — and I do think it has something to offer as a spiritual discipline, not just a diet. In this episode we’re going to share with you five reasons why.
